Mary Poopins/(7S) Bait Bucket

Mary is a huge cow that rotates over the dock. She poops twice an hour (at random) between 8am and 8pm SLT during Fishiversary. Be the first to click her cowpie and win a (7S) Bait Bucket. Don't worry, they float.



(DS) Monster Scorekeeper

The (DS) Monster Scorekeeper shows the top 5 scores in prim text during a fishing contest and works with either the 7Seas Fishing Contest Board or a compatible board such as the (DS) Blackboard.

The Monster Scorekeeper is in the CPG. Catch these items and assemble:

(DS) Catch AO 2

The (DS) Catch AO is a customizable animation override from Diamond Synthesis that triggers an animation after a catch or miss while using a 7Seas Fishing Rod. The AO gives you a notecard the first time you wear it, which tells you how to setup custom animations.

The Catch AO is in the CPG. Catch it (it's a SUR).


(DS) Level Up Mug

The (DS) Level Up Mug is a fishy mug that is also a scorekeeper. Click it for menu.

You receive the mug if you are fishing in the Diamond Synthesis/Triple J Fishing booth when you level up. There is a special HOF mug for HOF levels.

Series Board


The (DS) Series Board by Diamond Synthesis is a 7Seas Fishing Contest Board plug-in that sets up a series of fishing contests, starts them, tracks scores, and broadcasts results.

This item will be available at the 7Seas Fishiversay, April 28 to May 1, 2011.

For example, you can start a 30 minute contest every hour for 1 week and give prizes to the fishers with the highest scores.

Optionally, you can sum up the scores for all rounds. The fisher with the highest grand total wins.

Or, you can simply start contests automatically.

~ Allows contests of any duration, as often as you like, for as long as you like.
~ Broadcasts results for the top ten plus ties to a (DS) Gold or Bronze pot, allowing configurable Linden payouts and prizes.
~ Tracks high scores from all rounds, highest score wins.
~ Optionally, sums scores for all rounds, highest total wins.
~ Optionally, starts contests only.
~ Allows contest series to be automatically repeated.
~ Starts the series either now (top of next minute) or at a scheduled time within 24 hours.
~ Starts Unlimited or Limited contests.
~ Provides contest series setup via menus.
~ Displays the top five leaders in prim text, color-coded by place, and the top ten plus ties in hovertext. Shows ties.
~ Displays the top scores of the previous series in hovertext.
~ Locks to a contest board, allowing operation near other boards.
~ Locks to a (DS) Gold/Bronze pot, allowing pot payoff to be driven by the Series Board.
~ Allows only 1 score per avatar.

Monster Scorekeeper


The (DS) Monster Scorekeeper shows the top 5 scores in prim text during a fishing contest and works with either the 7Seas Fishing Contest Board or a compatible board such as the (DS) Blackboard.

This item can be caught at the 7Seas Fishiversay, April 28 to May 1, 2011 and replaces the hippoTell-based Monster Scorekeeper.


Scorekeeper Guide

Touch the Scorekeeper to get the menu.

"Set Msg" sets a message that is displayed above the scores. You enter the message in local chat. The message is limited to 40 characters.

"Clear Msg" clears the message above the scores.

"Lock" locks the Scorekeeper to a contest board. Click "Lock", then have the contest board broadcast its key. For a 7Seas Fishing Contest Board, use "Plug-ins/Broadcast" on the menu. For a (DS) Blackboard, use "Give Key" on the menu.

"Display On" and "Display Off" controls the prim text display. The Scorekeeper continues to operate when the display is off.

"Clear" erases the scores when the contest is over. The scores are automatically erased when a new contest starts.

"Help" gives this notecard.

"Rez Posts" rezzes posts on the back of the Monster Scorekeeper.

To enable others to access the menu, put the Scorekeeper in a group of your choice (such as an administration group). All group members can now access the scorekeeper menu.

Blackboard Update 104.1

An update for the (DS) Blackboard adds new features. To get the update (104.1), go to an inworld Bit Bucket location, wear your Blackboard , then accept a new (DS) Blackboard Package.

New Features

1. The Blackboard accepts contest duration from contest starters such as the (DS) Starter Bell and the (DS) Series Board.

2. The limit on the maximum number of fishers is raised from 90 to 150.

3. The Blackboard is now configured using the menu. The config notecard is no longer used.

4. Previous contest results are shown above the Blackboard.

5. Maximum contest duration is now unlimited. Previously, it was one week.

6. Display names are used only for the leaderboard and scorekeepers.

7. The menu is reorganized to be consistent with the (DS) Starter Bell and the (DS) Series Board. "Abort" is changed to "Abandon".

8. The "Quiet On" option disables gratuitous announcements,such as "ONE MINUTE to go! Make those last casts count!". The default is "Quiet Off". The Blackboard always announces contest start and end, as well as winners.

9. Blackboard mounting posts can be rezzed from the menu.

Starter Bell Update 104.1

An update for the (DS) Starter Bell adds new features. To get the update (104.1), go to an inworld Bit Bucket location, wear your Starter Bell, then accept a new (DS) Starter Bell Package.

New Features

1. Contest Duration

The Starter Bell now provides contest duration to the contest board. Set contest duration using the "Setup" menu.

2. Repeat Time

You can repeat a contest start at regular intervals by setting the "repeat time", using the "Setup" menu, and turning on the repeat option, using the "Options" menu.

3. "Fixed Time" Starts Deprecated

The Starter Bell no longer starts a contest at a fixed amount of time from now (e.g. in 10 minutes). Rather, the Starter Bell starts a contest at start time within the next 24 hours (e.g. at 12 noon).

4. Contest Type

You can set the contest type, limited or unlimited, using the "Options" menu.

5. Quiet Mode

You can disable gratuitous announcements, such as "Fishing contest starts in TEN minutes - check your BAIT!", using the "Options" menu.

6, Custom Message

You can display a custom message over the Starter Bell using the "Options Menu".

LoLLy Update 107.1

An update for the (DS) LoLLy adds new features. To get the update (107.1), go to an inworld Bit Bucket location, wear your LoLLy, then accept a new (DS) LoLLy Package.

New Features

1. Automatically locks to the (DS) Gold or Bronze Pot. The first time a LoLLy receives results from a pot, it locks to that pot. That is, it will only receive results from that pot in the future. This allows multiple pots and LoLLies to be near each other without conflict.

2. Shows all ties.

3. The LoLLy crystal is twice the size of prior versions, making it easier to see.
